TGIF! I love Fridays! Always a day of anticipation! My week was pretty kewl. I finally did do something with my hair, like straighten out all the balled-up fists w/Dark ‘N’ Lovelay and now I’m sittin’ here lookin’ real Pocahontash! Two braids is all this shyds gettin’ today! LOL! I tells ya, when ya on unemployment, thangs change a lil’ bit, like tryin’ to do your own lengthy azz herr! Anyways, I was cruisin’ through blogsphere and ran across this rough draft of Kanye West and Rihanna’s new video “Paranoid,” and I love it! This song makes me just want to run nekkid, (fat belly and awe), in front of devout Christian fanatics and Priests on a beach! Now you go figure!  And the word on the skreets is that Kanye ain’t too pleezed with the rough draft of this vid bein’ eagle spread all over the net like Cassie’s chittlins!  LOL!  Well, watch this while ya can y’all for the legal axe will prolly hit this vid soon!  I wish everyone a sexoholic azz weekend, and as always, you know I can’t letcha go without tappin’ dat azz! This week’s spotlight is on the female R&B group, “SWV.”  SWV (an acronym for Sisters With Voices) was formed by three friends: Cheryl “Coko” Gamble-Clemons, Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons. SWV got their start when they sent a 5 song demo to over 15 major record labels in the U.S. They scored a record deal with RCA Records after producer Teddy Riley, a former member of Guy, heard their demo. With Riley’s help, the group’s 1992 debut album, It’s About Time, went double platinum and produced several Top Ten hits.  Initially the girls had named themselves TLC (Taj, Lele & Coko), but were beaten to the name by R&B girl group TLC  just 2 weeks earlier.  Read more regarding their history here.
